My mobile phone is a bit … antique! It’s still working, but my kids make fun of it. I can call. I can text. But, the camera isn’t really that good or should I say not clear. It hurts to listen to phone calls or music. The download time takes forever. And worse of all the battery life gets shorter and shorter. I guess it’s time for a change. I told my kids I plan to buy a new phone and just keep the old one in the drawer. But, my internet savvy daughter gave me a fantastic idea to sell my mobile phone and get extra cash to buy a new one!
I did some internet surfing and I found a lot of companies willing to buy old mobile phones – working or not! Some companies even give competitive money offer. And the transaction is so easy. You don’t need to go to their place of business; you can do the deal online! How is the selling process? Here is a simple procedure that some buying companies follow.
- To make things easier and faster for the seller, some websites have a Search box. The search box will tell you if they accept the type of phone you plan to sell. All you have to do is type in the phone model and click. If your phone is manufactured by Apple, Blackberry, Samsung, Sony, LG, HTC, Nokia or Sony Ericsson there is a bigger chance the company will accept it.
- After searching, the company may show a simple product description plus their money offer. Nice offer? If you are still interested, you can write the IMEI number and the phone network and finally click the ‘sell my phone’ option.
- At this point, you need to put in your asking price. Some companies may even offer to send you an envelope or packaging material for your phone. If you are totally sure, then the last step is to send your old mobile phone to the company.
- After they receive your phone, the company will check the phone condition. If there is no problem, then the company will send you the payment the same day. Easy, right? If you are not satisfied with their offer, they will return the phone without extra charge.
Easy. Simple. Fast. That’s the right way to get rid of old mobile phones! So, why keep them at home when you can sell them? Remember, extra cash is way better than no cash at all. Start searching for those old mobile phones around the house and get in touch with companies buying them at a nice price.
Today, I have a new mobile phone with great features! It has quality camera to capture clearly special times with the family; clear and crisp sound from the speakers to enjoy the music; faster download time; more space to use; and better applications to use or play with.
Just one problem, I need to know how to stop my kids from borrowing the phone! I accept suggestions! Anyone?
